Alero should be recalled.

Before you buy that new  or used General Motors Oldsmobile you would be wise to check out the truth about the poor factory workmansip and materials that GM has used to manufacture the Alero. If you think that GM gave the Alero a 5 year or 60,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty then check out Oldsmobile Alero warranty If you read it carefully, you will see that once you get past your 3 years or /36,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty all you get for the 5ear or 60,000 mile warranty is "Cosmetic corrosion defects rust-through corrosion (2)" GM 3 year or 36,000 mile warranty on the Oldsmobile Alero You would also be wise to check out the truth about the so-called 5 year or 60,000 mile warranty that GM Oldsmobile Alero would have you believe that you are getting if you purchase an Alero. Click on here to view a larger picture of my 2002 Alero that is less than two years old and just turned 37,000 miles in which the dash and three door pads have come unglued and buckled. Since my Alero turned over the 36,000 miles just the week before the dash and three door pads came unglued and buckled--both the dealer "Dan Cummins * Chevrolet * Buick * Pontiac * Oldsmobile, Inc located in Paris, KY refused to either repair or replace the factory defective dash and door pads.

Email from Genetal Motors GM Oldsmobile Alero Service Assistance refusing to repair or replace the defective dash and three door pads on the 2002 Alero which is two years old and just turned over 36,000 miles when the dash and door pads came unglued and buckled.

When General Motors GM Oldsmobile and their dealers refuse to take any responsibility to the factory defects that causes your Alero to decrease in resale and trade in value such as to make it virtually worthless--your only recourse will be to contact a lemon lawyer in your state to sue GM under the Lemon Law.

You can check out the National Lemon Law Center for your state. Many states will consider an automobile a lemon if the defect has a drastic effect in decreasing the value of your Alero or other General Motors products.
